When she got to the hospital, she saw this pig.
She didn't notice it when she was there last Monday because her eye was covered with an ice pack.
Following the instructions, she rubbed its nose for good luck which is something she's been a bit short of so far this year.
Then, she saw all the other little animals under the pig!
My Typist is easily thrilled.
Here are some pictures which have nothing to do with the pig or My Typist's eye.
I hope you're not getting a cheap thrill out of this because it's serious stuff.
Do you notice anything different about me?

Something new: Do you have a nice, new red collar half way through those thrilling photos?
I hope your Typist is feeling much better. I like the little animals under the lucky pig. I'm easily thrilled like your Typist!
That pig is fun! I hope that the good luck works. :)
I like the pig and the little critters too - what a lovely piece of sculpture, and I'm sure that pig's nose gets rubbed by many entering the hospital.
As for your puzzle. Um....red collar looks new. But, GLP, why are you lifting your leg and marking everything in sight like a boy dog??????
Have you always peed like a boy dog, GLP? Of course, that wouldn't explain the photos where you are NOT peeing. Whatever it is, it must be good, since you've turned into such a good girl. :)
Glad the stitches are out (and glad you didn't tumble and hurt yourself while rubbing the pig snout - that would be real BAD luck).
We are also thrilled by all this serious stuff. It doesn't take much to thrill us, like any picture of an animal will do it for us.
Good wishes for your typist from all of us.
Georgia Little Pea, are you in Florence, Italy? That is were I've seen that pig before! It is indeed good luck to rub its snout. Hope the Typist gets some of the benefits of rubbing the piggie nose!
Is it my imagination or does the pig have a golden wiener?! okay, there's my cheap thrills ...
Now on to you, GLP, hmm, what's different? Have you always lifted your leg while pottying? (I don't think that's a word.) I certainly hope you haven't hurt your paw in doggie capoeira class!
-c at ddy.
We are sorry, but that piggy thing scared the woof out of our Mama. She says it is staring at her. So woofing creepy. Then she starting giggling over how silly it is to have a statue of pig outside the hospital. I mean really, a pig? What will those goffy human come up with next??
AHA!
One of you has her mind in the gutter, but has especially good eyesight!
I SHALL REVEAL ALL SOON, as soon as I get up, brush my teeth, get out of my jammies, feed Georgia and have my breakfast. SO GET YOUR 2 CENTS IN NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY! :)
The only "new" thing that I am noticing is that you are lifting your leg like a boy.
Congrats on getting the stitches out. I'm sure that feels a lot better now.
Hi GLP, glad to see the old waterworks are functioning well.
So long as you didn't pee on the pretty sculptures your typist was admiring.
I hope your Typist is feeling much better now!
I do believe you have a new red collar, but perhaps that's just my imagination and deep love of canine couture playing tricks on me!

They say doing squats can strengthen your glutes, calves, and hamstrings. The one-leg-lift sure is an added challenge. So, you must have a pretty strong bottom, GLP!
My girl-dog pees like that too -- I'd never seen that before she started doing that! She is so unusual in so many ways that this is just par for the course. What does it mean? How did they learn that? She came from LaPaz, Mexico an I figured she just didn't get the memo...hah! cheers from BC.
dear Ms Petite Maple, Georgia has a samba butt. It's solid! You wouldn't want her to sit on you for sure ;)
dear Cowgirl, thanks for dropping by :) The Answer is on the next post! Apparently, it's quite common, nothing to worry about, and doesn't just affect dogs from La Paz [and Sydney]. Phew, eh?
I saw that photo of the boar and I thought of the exact one in Florence, Italy!
I am so glad your Typist gets her stitches removed and is feeling much better now!
I see you have a red collar, isn't?
The pig is really fun and a bit scary too! Lol!
