Postcard from the road #1

Dear everybody,

We just left on our Christmas road trip! The Typist got into trouble before we even left our street. She broke my brand new $400 bed that she insisted on bringing along. She got a big scold and is now in deep poop and will conceivably be reminded of how stoopid she is for the rest of our holiday.

I hope your day got off to a better start. Love, Georgia x

Can you see where the bed broke? It got taped!

We think the tape adds a dashing touch of individuality. And stuff like that.

Whoa! A $400 bed? Cripes, those things are expensive down under! Well, at least is is broken in now (no pun intended) - just like the first scratch on a new car, it's gotta happen sometimes!
But, Georgia, where are you going????? Somewhere fun? Somewhere exotic? Somewhere where there are relatives and lots of food and presents?

Dear MISS JEAN, yes things are too expensive here because we are at the end of the world. That's not really a bed though. It's the bottom half of my new crate which The Typist failed to tell everyone about. I don't know where we're going. No one told me anything and I just got bundled into the car this morning.

Beds can be repaired. You just stay safe on your trip Georgia!

Can't wait to hear all about your adventures!

Georgia, crate bottoms make comfy beds. But even the biggest, most giant ones here are only about half that price. It would probably have been cheaper for me to buy one for you here and ship it to you! LOL

Cushion did so much research to find an airline approved one that was big enough. The price was a shocker. I think this was THE ONLY ONE he found and it had to be ordered in from Melbourne. We knew it was overpriced, unfortunately there was no choice. I don't think crates are used much here.

Oh my dog, GLP, you're flying on a plane! I hope the tape is strong enough to hold your crate together - you can't be roaming around during the flight!

Have SO much fun!
