Love is a many-splendored thing, if you can find it.

My stay-at-home human woke up this morning and gave me an extra big cuddle in bed. "Mwah, mwah," she said, kissing my ears. "Happy Valentine's Day, Georgia Little Pea."

I yawned in her face to say, "I love you too but why did you wake me up?" And she went "Urggh! That smells!"

I wasn't upset. I know you can only say something like that if you really know and love someone [or are very rude]. So that means my stay-at-home human really knows and loves me [or is very rude].

After that, my out-at-work human came over to give me a big cuddle and kiss. It was a good start to the day.

I couldn't wait to go for my walk so I could wish all my friends a Happy Valentine's Day too.

Off we went to Callan Park. I met Jack and Mana and Tora!

I immediately went over to tell Jack how much I loved him. He ran away. For such a big boy, Jack is awfully shy.

Tora kept getting between us too. So, with a heavy heart, I finally had to give up.
I think I might have to look for a new boyfriend soon. I love Jack, but it's just too unreasonable to have to share him like this.

"Do you think I shouldn't have peed here? Jack looks a bit shocked. My out-at-work human says I'm not ladylike enough for him. Poo, I say. Poo."

I was really hoping to see Coco too. I haven't seen her in days.

We looked and looked. We waited and waited for a whole hour. But she didn't turn up. Then it was time to leave the park.

I was very sad and cried all the way home because I really wanted to tell her, "You're My Best Friend, Coco! I wish you could come live with us. I love you A Lot!"

It's already lunchtime on Valentine's Day and so far, I haven't been able to tell anyone how much I love them.

I suppose I could always tell Mr Thumper, "I love you. Thank you for being my friend housemate."
I could. I suppose.

Maybe I will, if I don't meet anyone else before bedtime.

I know what I'm going to do. I'm going to tell Coco how much I love her the very next time I see her.
It'd be too silly to have to wait another 364 days to tell her something as important as that. Don't you think so too?

My Plan To Get Coco Home To Live With Us.
"Okay, here's the plan. I jump into the back seat."

"See all that space? You get in there with Mr Thumper and remember to keep very still until we're home."

You're absolutely right, there's no need to wait for 1 day a year to show someone you love them. I'm sure even Mr Thumper could use some.

Happy Valentine's day!

It is hard to express one's true feelings sometimes, isn't it? But I have an inkling that Coco already knows how Georgia feels - even if she hasn't been able to say it out loud.

I am glad you had a great day!

That's a whole lot of golden dogs!

I think for dogs it's valentine's day every day. My Daisy has a BFF. Every time they see each other it's a big wiggly love fest.

You should tell Coco how much you love her EVERY time you see her! :D

Oh, please do keep Coco in the back in the back of the car! Chocolate Labs are TERRIBLE drivers, especially teenaged ones - ack!

GLP, the photos of you with your paws crossed are very sweet and ladylike. Now, I may be mistaken, but I think in that one shot, RBT was coming in for a kiss with that impressive pink tongue of his!

c at ddy.
