It's okay.

I found out over the weekend that my sunny spots have gone to live with Charley and Sadie, and their friend Kinley found them.

I don't know how this could have happened and I'm not pleased. It's not nice to steal someone's sunny spots like that.

I asked for them to be sent back, express post please. They told me their postal humans were on strike. Likely story, I say! That would NEVER happen here in The Country Where I Live.

Then look what I found!
 A new sunny spot!
 Isn't it pretty?

So it's okay guys! You can keep my old ones. Please take good care of them. If you could send them back in about 3 months, that would be nice.

Until then, enjoy :)

That's very generous of you to share your sunny spots like that, Georgia! I used to have to share my sunny spots with my three sisters, and sometimes Dad, but now I've found my own private sunny spot up in Mom's attic room and I don't have to share it with anyone! If you came to see me, I'd share it with you, though!

Oh Georgia, I am so relieved that you found a new sunny spot. I hope it stays around all winter! I think Kinley must have taken the one he was using back to the mainland with him, as this afternoon it disappeared and we have grey skies again. But if it pops back up, I shall make sure we look after it very carefully until we can send it back Down Under.

i think we should all meet at Anny's so we can have lots of sunny spots each.

okay, that's decided then.

dear Anny, Dom and Piper, could you please send me some money for the airticket? My typist is too stingy to shout me one.

thank you xox

It's ruff when you lose your sunny spots! Sure hope you can hang on to the new one, til you get the others back again! xo

My house is really 'unsunny' so Beryl and Frankie usually have to go outside to lie in the sun. And Beryl HAS to have a duvet to lie on. Frankie now thinks that's a lot better than lying on concrete so he shares her duvet:) I hope you keep finding sunny spots all winter, GLP.

can you take nom noms as payment for the tickets instead? i got some.. and i can tt to you and you can call them airlines and tell them you are paying with nom noms. They might just give you a seat... with a little tv.. and some warm food.. and probably... urmms... a stewardess to give you belly rubs :D

@GreyhoundsCANsit - what, ONLY a duvet? that's cruel. poor Beryl and Frankie. where's the kingsize mattress? couldn't you just haul it in and out everyday? :)

@Anny - my nom noms are kept in the fridge, cupboards and cans and i don't know how to open them. so sad. looks like i'll just have to freeze till Spring *sigh*

You are sooooo lucky to find that new sunny spot, Georgia. Maybe you should file a claim on it. Then it's yours--all yours!!

Hmmm... Now I am wondering if perhaps you stole our sunny spots! We've only seen them briefly and often they don't stay very long. An hour or two at most and then poof! Vanished. Not to return for weeks on end.

I'll be watching you, Georgia. Shiva will not be impressed if she finds out.

I'm quite impress by your ladylike reaction to having your sun sport snatched, GLP! Your new sunny spot is nice but I think it's you that's pretty!

Georgia, be careful about rubbing it in everyone's noses when you have sun spots and we don't. I wonder if some critters who got jealous reading about your sunspots all summer stole them away from you.

You might want to be more subtle about the sunspots in the future. Maybe tell us they're not all that.

But, you do look awful pretty in your spot.

Okay, look Georgia, we REALLY hate to break it to you (this is gonna be painful...for you), BUT...only the (shhh) c-a-t-s in our home like the sunny spots. We prefer freezing our bums off on the cold air shooters. You got any cold air shooters, other than the sky? Hmmm. We do think the light playing on your coat makes you a yummy shade of sweet potato.

@ Elizabeth - WHAT ON EARTH ARE COLD AIR SHOOTERS?!

i have sweet potato sometimes. mashed with pumpkin and lentils. it's yum.

Please pardon us, we are only dogs and just call it like we see it sometimes. "Cold air shooters" (according to mom) are the VENTS on the floor that shoot the cold air on us. They also happen to shoot warm air when the humans start wearing too many clothes. :)
