Dear Georgia,
Greetings from Auckland! It is lovely here, sunny and warm! We walked lots yesterday, exploring the city and had some good food. We are struggling along here and so unhappy without you.
Have you made friends with the horsies and piggies yet? Please remember not to chase the cows, and what I told you. If they're not in a sealed bag, they're not ready to eat.
I hope you've made some doggy friends at least.
Please say hello to Mr O for us!
That's it for now. We miss you! Really.
Love, your humans, now setting off for the Coromandel X
Reading between the lines, I can tell the typist is totally miserable without you.
ReplyDeleteOh dear. Somehow I think that Georgia the fearsome pig dog wouldn't know what pork on the hoof was if it came up and bit her on the backside!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see some pictures of Georgia at camp. Looks like she being a perfect little lady. Glad you are having a good time. Can't wait to hear Georgia's take on the whole experience.
ReplyDeleteOh Georgia, you're giving your typist a month's vacation? You'll spoil her.
ReplyDeleteOh Georgia, I hope you have a comfy bed there and don't have to sleep in those cold concrete-floored jail cells! Please tell us you are having a wonderful time. As for your Typist and Cushion, I know they would be having a LOT more fun if you were with them. Love, Auntie Jean.
ReplyDeleteAAh you were keeping some pics up your sleeve T!! I was wondering what the place looked like. Ms Pea? bully anyone? nooooo. ;)
ReplyDeleteGo on, you and Cush are having a ball!
x
Georgia looks well happy. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
For your information, MS H, I ran away before Whoever Had Me Before could turn me into a bloodthirsty pig hunter. Do pigs really bite?
ReplyDeleteBWAH haha MS HIKER, you're funny :D
There are outdoor beds at camp AUNTY JEAN. They're not cushy and warm like my princess bed though.
Cushion took the piccies when he dropped me off, MS ROSE.
Oh, Typist,
ReplyDeleteI bet you miss Georgia Pea terrible like.
We're thinking of you all. It's so hard being in different places.
Love,
Renee & Tootsie
What fun! Do you know Solo Irving the greyhound? He lives in the Coromandel! Deccy x
ReplyDeleteI just checked and I haven't been to Coromandel, well not in the last 35 years. I might have gone there when I did a bus trip around both islands when I was 17 but I can't remember going there at all. I know it is a very lovely area though. Hope this great weather continues for your whole trip! Are you going to the South Island? You must be if you're here for a month. Got a hire car or camper van? You're going to have the best time. You can find out about the Kapa Haka in Rotorua ;) Hugs to GLP. Her prison looks good for a prison.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, good of Cush to take the piccies but we haven't heard how he coped with being the one to have to do the 'drop off'. A few sniffles perhaps?
ReplyDeleteSolo Irving, DECCY? No, we don't. We shall look out for greyhounds. We met a dog called Red today. He looked like a boy Georgia :)
ReplyDeleteSUE, we're just doing North Island and feel like it's a rush. Thank goodness it's a small place. Is North Island smaller than NSW? ;) We did a road trip of South Island 17 years ago. Beautiful! I will remember Kapa Haka.
I just asked, ROSE. He said, "Of course not." Now he's saying Georgia said as he went off, "Where you going daddy? Where you going?" Yeah, I think he was sad.
That looks a pretty nice place Georgia. But ya, don't chase the pigs.
ReplyDeleteHi, Typist! Is it my imagination or is Georgia bigger than those little horsies? Can't wait to read Georgia's report on Camp Couldbegood after vacation is over. I need to go pull out a map and look up these places you talk about...expand my horizons a bit vicariously. Enjoy the sites!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a pretty nice place to me!
ReplyDeleteHoly cows!! hehehehe

I thinks that looks like a lovely camp Georgia! I really thinks you could have a good time!
