Postcard from the road Day 2 #1

Guess what I met this morning on my walk?

HORSES! They were gigantic! They came towards me! Cushion told The Typist I bolted. This is a gross exaggeration. I moved away to avoid being stepped on because I am not stoopid.

After that I met KANGAROOS! There were at least 12! They were in the big field right in front of our room that you saw in yesterday's postcard #3. I went to say hello but they hopped away. I think The Typist is quite grateful I didn't get disembowelled.

Unfortunately I have no pictures of this life-changing moment because it was raining and Cushion didn't have the camera. I am devastated by his lack of planning. He went back to take pictures later but we can't show you because blogger-on-the-go won't let us.

To finish off my walk, I went for a dip in some stinky muddy water. That resulted in my first bath of the holiday, in the rain.

We are on the road again! Love, Georgia X

    1. Dear PUDDS, The Typist says she will put together A Round Up with everything we can't post now when we get home. Stay tuned! I'm sure it will be riveting.

  3. Kangaroos? Are you sure? I thought they were only on TV.
That wash up looks a trifle uncomfortable. All that stinky goodness washed away.

  6. Are you sure you aren't hallucinating, Georgia? Maybe the stinky water had something bad in it! Stay safe.

  7. They were for real, I swear MS BARB! Unfortunately, The Typist says the pictures Cushion took really suck. Isn't this the story of my life.

  8. You are not supposed to have to have baths while you are on holidays. It is a time to only do things YOU like to do, and it doesn't look like you liked the bath.
I hope your holiday doesn't include any more baths.

  9. Ugh. Isn't there some kind of rule that you don't have to have baths when you're on vacation?!

    1. Dear CASEY, you don't know my family. I bet a kazillion dollars that I will be having even more baths than when I'm home. Sigh.

  10. Are kangaroos mean? Would they hurt a dog? We have only seen pictures of them. By the way - your postcards are making the mom want to take a trip.

    Your friends,

    1. Defeat THUMPER AND LIGHTNING, I don't know if they're mean but if you got into a tussle with one, you would probably lose. they have very powerful back legs (as you can imagine, from all the hopping) and very strong claws at the end of them. Luckily, they hopped away when I approached them. I guess they recognised what a fearsome pigdog I am.

  11. I apologize for my odd backward commenting. Google Reader shows newest post first, so I'm going back in time. HEY! this may be a "fix" for our end-of-the-world problem.

  13. Miss GLP, I don't think you could look more pathetic if you tried. Bath time sucks, doesn't it :P
