Most dog trips in the car end up at the groomer or the vet. I'm not sure why any dog would want to go in the car. Walkies are much better.

ReplyDeletemy humans have been very anxious to make me A Good Girl. i think i was quite bad when i first came so it's been hard work. also, since it's the Train Your Dog Challenge at Ms Pamela's this month, they wanted her to know they haven't been sitting on their fat bums all year ;p

Wow, I'm so impressed, GLP. There are only 2 things I'd love to eradicate from Frankie's behavior but I don't think I've got any show of getting him to walk nicely on lead because I've got to stop him wanting to sniff every blade of grass first. And I just can't seem to make myself more interesting than a blade of grass. How sad is that:(

GLP, my Charley used to hate car rides too. She never became really enamoured with them, but she did learn to tolerate them in order to get to her favourite park or beach.

Miss GLP. You must have talked to Jersey and Dexter. They *love* riding in the car since it always takes them to fun and interesting places, like the pet store for treats! Very good job. You *are* such a good girl!

Now, I can understand how the first two behavior adjustments might be a result of holiday camp, but THIS? Did GLP go on car rides at camp? Uncanny.
