Postcard from the road #4
We are at South West Rocks waiting for the sun to set. I wish it would hurry up because I'm starving. The Typist slipped on the rocks and fell. I think her stinky knee just got stinkier. She's not having a good day.
Wish you were here!
Love, Georgia X
Georgia:
ReplyDeleteWe love your postcards from the road! Hilarious. Tell your Typist that duct tape fixes everything (was that duct tape in the picture of your bed?). And tell your Typist that Arnica oil helps with my mom's stinky knee (she probably knows that, though, because your Typist is not stoopid but is very smaaart).
Travel with a wag,
Tootsie
You you must be psychic TOOTSIE! She did bring her arnica oil, also knee straps and an ice pack. I think they will all be coming out after her shower.
DeleteYou could show a little more enthusiasm mate! Sorry about the Typist's knee... Deccy x
ReplyDeleteReally feeling bad about The Typist's slip and fall. I hope she does okay. You know what they say...When momma ain't happy, no one is happy.
ReplyDeleteDear MS LORI, around here, when CUSHION's not happy, no one's happy :)
DeleteGorgeous! I wish it was beach weather here. Thank you for sharing a part of your holiday with us! I am glad you are all having a wonderful time, despite the knee troubles.
ReplyDeleteOh that looks wonderful!!! I wish we were there, but no. Here we are in the ice and snow.
ReplyDeleteGeorgia, I think your Typist better stay in the car while you and Cushion explore. Or get her a wheelchair - she could harness you up and you could pull her around (but not over slippery rocks!). Hope the knee is better by morning.
ReplyDeleteOh, goodness, Typist. I hope your knee is OK. I took a spill a couple of weeks ago, courtesy of Thumper. It really hurt!
ReplyDeleteI hope the typist feels better. She won't be enjoying the vacation like you and cushion if she's in pain!
ReplyDeleteDear EVERYONE,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your concern. The Typist can still walk and make my brekkie and load the car. All is not lost. It's a miracle because her leg twisted out when she fell like a sack of potatoes and there was a sharp pain, she says. It looked so scary, Cushion didn't even give her a scold for dropping the iPad on the rocks. The trials of a blogger-on-the-go who was too busy taking pictures to notice the rocks were slimy. Hooroo! X
Oh, ouch! I hope it's not too serious. The day before Thanksgiving Mason's cushion broke his knee cap skateboarding. He iced it for three days straight practically and didn't bother going to the doctor for a week where the X-ray showed a crack straight through. Ugh, makes me feel queasy just thinking about it.
ReplyDelete-c at ddy.
MS C! I can't believe he broke his knee cap and didn't see the doctor for a week. That is CRAZY! He must have a very high pain threshold. I hope he's feeling better now x
